You must have some really sharp nails if you were able to scratch it up like that. I did the exact same thing you did and I did'nt get any scratches. Used a lot of good gone and my finger nail to scrape it off. Can't even tell I had letters on the car before.

 

I would do what he said, make sure those scratches go "into" the paint and are not ridges on the paint.. Mine had some adhesive left over along the edges.. took some time to get off.

 

Looks to me like it's just left over gunk or something...try again to rub it off.

 

ok ill try doing that when i get home from school today. if it doesnt work, does anyone have a used trunk i could buy from them?

 

yeah, didnt work.... it looks like the goo "peeled" the paint off giving the illusion of the scratched in "LANCER" im so ****ed... why oh why did i do this???

 

Okay.. Stop being so generous with Goo Be gone.. It EATS through the clear coat. Making your finger nails ****ing weapons agianst your car man.

Heres what do.

Smooth it all out. then get a paint stick, and apply....

 

i did, and it said lancer in touchup paint

 

in case of scratch- insert ugly bumper sticker here
