Question Help!!!scratch!

I NEED HELP! I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING! I TOOK OFF THE "LANCER" ON THE BACK OF MY 2002 LANCER ES AND I HAVE SOME SCRATCHES! I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING TO GET RID OF THEM. I WENT TO AUTOZONE AND GOT MEGUIRES SCRATCH X, DIDNT WORK. I GOT SOME TURTLEWAX AND BUFFED IT, DIDNT WORK. I EVEN TRIED TO TOUCH IT UP WITH PAINT, MADE IT LOOK EVEN WORSE! SO MY ONLY OPTION IS TO TAKE IT UP TO SERVICE KING AND HAVE THEM FIX IT FOR $453.33!!! I HAVE $53.00...SOMEONE HELP ME, IS THERE ANY THING I CAN DO TO FIX IT?!?!? I'M ABOUT TO LOOSE MY MIND

damn man, that sucks. i heated the letters w/a hair dryer, then used floss to saw em off slowly then used goo gone, which didnt do it all the way, so i used a whole lotta elbow grease and rubbed the goop off with my finger tip, not the nail, the skin part, lol. but no scratches at all for me.

i say tho, if its gonna cost u 400+ to repaint and u cant get the scratches off just go and get a cf trunk. orrr, if your low on cash, find a tg lancer out there (or whatever your color is. it looks tg) that bought a cf trunk and has no need for the original. you can probably get it pretty cheap. either way its cheaper than repainting.

try turtle wax black scratch filler( looks like lipstick. Wax over with turtle wax, black filler wax. Then try buffing with mild abrasive 3M Buffing compound.

Are you sure they're scratches? Don't mean to sound like a dumbass but when I took the Lancer Evolution badges off of my car I thought I had scratched it up too. Goo be gone wouldn't shift it at first. I literally spent 20 minutes constantly attacking it with the goo be gone and it finally all disappeared. Although Mitsu paint is ****, I can't see your finger nail doing that much damage. Go outside, grab the goo be gone, and work on it for a while; it's worth a try.

or...if u wanna try it...take some non-acetone fingernail polish remover.

put some on a rag and wipe it off...it came off 10x's easier than the goo gone crap. and after that i washed it really quick and waxed it, just incase the remover did something bad lol. but it looks perfect now and u cant even tell the letters were there...except for the little scratch there.
