Step 2: Add turbocharger
Step 3: Add front mount intercooler.
Done! All for ~$3500!

haha... are you new in the tuning world? Thats not a decoration or a design.. But thats called an intercooler.. Its connected to the turbocharger or sometimes supercharger... It gives your car boost.. MAKES IT FAST!

wait, thats an intercooler? its not part of the grill or front bumper or something? wow, i am going to have the coolest front bumper at NOPI next year. now all i have to do is get 3.5k?? that seems kind of expensive for a front bumper........... now i will attempt to shoot myself for typing all that. i feel less intelligent now.

sorry, one more post. road race says thats the maximum size intercooler that fits the stock lancer FB. after looking at that pic, as i had not noticed this before, i think they might have their story a little crooked. i see that there is plenty of length left to go.
^ haha yea do what zooracer said and get the 'turbo noise' mod from ebay for like 10 bucks. that little whistling fan you stick at the tip of your exhaust.. 
and maybe you could throw in a voicebox for the hell of it in your engine compartment and scream 'pssssshhht' into the microphone for your greddy type-s BOV..

rrm says its the largest intercooler that fits WITHOUT cutting of the bumper or any other significant mods to hold it in place, sure you can get a larger one in there, but it will cost a helluva lot more to re-do piping and stuff like that
