Hey man, sorry to hear about your car ...it does/did look great. Quick question though, how hard did you work to get your JSP carbon trunk aligned perfect like it looks in the pics. I have had mine on and the driver side of my trunk is higher now then the other side and it came up for no reason really. Thanks if you can help and again sorry to hear about your car

This is a prime example why fiber glass is not good.

look what happened to the metal plate.. that was quite a hit.. fiberglass / FRP / PFRP / Urethane.. etc. it would have damaged regardless.

I've seen this guy's car before. I've never met another person that babies and spoils a car like he does (no matter what the cost). Maybe the new paint color was a little close to stock, but I got money on the fact that he's NOT making stuff up.

oh man... my deepest condolences dude!.. that sucks big time!.. ur car was so.. so... beautiful! looks more like u ran over a horse than ur common everyday road kill!... i'm sooo sorry to see that man...

and to everyone who is talking sh*t about his paint job... i know this guy personally and he's not lying about the paint job... cmon... why would he lie about it?. their are sooo many of us lancer tuners in the illinois area... if he lied we would all find out right away... therefore it would be pretty stupid to lie huh?. anywayz... as the saying goes.. "if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anthing at all"...

but yeah... sorry to see that man but its all good.. if i know you you'll prolly use this as an excuse to spen even more money on ur ride and order some new fancier stuff.. haha..

take care..

That sucks man! You must've hit a damn big raccoon! But it's the best reason in the world to go shopping for a new body kit...

Bro...sorry about your car....but I gotta ask. Somewhere in the last week...were you going down HWY 41...can't remember the time...probably around if not after 6 pm. Headed twords Chicago....but in the Lake Forest area? I was on my way home...in my daily driver not my EVO...so you wouldn't have noticed me. I was like...Hey I know that car...and was gonna honk...but then I realized what car I was in! LOL

First off, I really dont care enough to call any place. IM not trying to flame, but the story is rediculous. Second, you got the car repainted, great, I can believe that. I still DO NOT see how paint can cost $900 to ship. There is no way, period. Like I said certain paint is not just indigenous to certain countires. While interning in Akron I spent alot of time at my buddies autobody shop, so I know a decent amount about paint. Actually, I really dont think theres anything special about Lambo paint at all, I believe its all PPG products....Oh wait yea it is.....
http://www.lambocars.com/paint.htm

Hmmm, seems like a U.S. based company to me....
I could understand paying $900 for the paint, especially if it had a high mica and flex content. (thats the gold "flake" you speak of) Hell I could even see a very well done paint job costing upwards of $3000. But if you paid $900 to "ship" paint from Pittsburg (PPGs headquarters, the only place you would need to ship from, Italy would never come into play) to Chicago, when you could have just had the paint mixed based on the paint code, you my friend got ripped off.....

alright .. ill just say it like this ( i by no means am good with paint and stuff like that), if i did get it ripped off, then so be it.. but in a sense of not trying to sound to0 obnoxious, i had the money to spend and i spent it. My frens and I deal with both body werks (skokie)(i was in the body werks booth HIN oct 2003) and berty's(elgin) they're the one who stated these claims.
