Question Rim Painting?

I have Omni Enigma Rims! Color is white! They r 17's! Can I paint these safely? Someone told me all I had to do was rub down with 1000 Dot Sand Paper in Soap and Water and then get a Air Compressor, my desired color and paint them. Is his a safe way?

Youll have to tell us what kind of rims you have first. Powder coating usually envolves them being heated to a high temp if your rims are plated I'm not sure if it can be poweder coated. Powder coat will probably cost more than new rims also. If you have aluminum wheels they will have to be stripped of the clear coat first........

how about powder coating the stock rims. Will those cost more or will new rims be better?
