if I go with the 205-40-17 ASX kumho's i can get everything for 900... why are the 215's more expenssive? just because their wider???

yup.. its more expensive coz they're wider, meaning they use more rubber to make it too. if you want, i'd go with a 205/45/17 tire.. how much extra would that be?

I like the look of a lower profile tire but the feeling of a wider tire is amazing. I wish our wheel wells could fit 225's.

btw are the Kumho ASX's any good? I was reading alot of reviews and everyone is raving about em. their suppose to be awesome in the rain/dry and light snowy roads. plus, they have a 400 tread rating and a HIGH speed rating. look em up.

Not my style, but not bad. I got my first set of wheels from Whalen Tire. They were great, but my wheels (ADR RS Limited Ikaris) sucked ***. Enjoy the wheels (whatever you get).

check out my profile for the look of gunmetals w/ cf hood and spoiler, i love it. those kuhmos, as long as i am thinking of the same ones, theyre basically a better version of the 712's which is what i got. theyre probably some of the best handling tires ive had, especially in the rain, the only bad thing about them is they chop real easy, so i get a lot of vibration in the steering wheel around 70. Also note that i work in a tire shop, and i dont know how many times ive tried to balance them, but i still get vibrations. but i still reallly like them

I could have told you ADR's aren't the best rim. (im not saying Enkei are either) but they sure have made a name for themselves! the motegis ur running with arent exactly my style either hobie.

brent, youre ride looks f'n sick man. Whats next? What size tires are you running? Ive read alot of reviews about the 712's and they state that they wear very quickly and are noisy but they grip the road nicely! What I like about the ASX's is that thier an EXCELLENT all around tire.

... Sexy yes... so sexy I can't stand it? Hmm, not too sure yet. I only wish gunmetal looked good on my car... (Dark Blue Lancer)
