sorry, ya the guage surround.

 

U remove the gauges and simply remove the clear plastic cover then unclip the black surround. then u paint it, let it dry then re-assemble it.

 

key kareem how bout you let me used the paint gun for a weekend?....j/k....what kinda compresor using?...how many psi?

 

Im using an Ingersand Rolland (however the **** u spell it) compressor. This compressor is pretty much an industrial type compresser that's pretty damn powerful. Im usually shooting out of the paintgun at about 60psi for paint and 50 psi for clear. The compressor itself can push up to around 180 psi

Sounds good dude... Im not in LA but im in "da OC" (Orange County), City of Yorba Linda to be specific.

 

remember kareem everyone not from so cal thinks anything south of santa barbara is LA until you hit San Diego.

man i really want to paint my interior now and get rid of the cf overlays.

 

A painted interior looks so much better than overlays. I've seen a few overlays and they are either crooked, or dont fit good, or they're too thick. Most of em dont shine like show quality paint even.

 

the cf overlay i have was came with the car from the dealer. everybody thinks its cool and i like it but id like somethig painted more. i just dont know what color i would do.

 

The interior of a red car would look awesome in the same red as the body or in some sort of titanium or anthracite color (some thunder greyish, gunmetalish color).

 

wow is all i gotta say..that red is perfect.....it is so clean and shiney...wow!

 

I have a dark blue lancer, and I was hoping to photoshop the car pic Kareem posted and seeing what the interior would look like with blue paint... once I do it I will post pics.
