I try to use one as often as possible due to living in a townhouse and having no garage to park in.

My wife got me the one I use at Pep Boys for about $40-50. I have to take off the antenna and fold the mirrors in but it fits really good. It has helped alot with all the pollen that has been floating around lately.

im using one right now but i'm gonna need a bigger one soon because when i get the ken style kit on the car the factory cover wont fit over the ken style kit any more...i have to take the antenna off and fold the mirrors as well.

i would suggest you guys invest on a car cover especially if you leave your car outside. If you have a bodykit, rims or a cool paint job your gonna want to keep everything from touching those parts of the car sun light especially which tends to eat away on the paint even with UV clear coat extensive exposure to sunlight will lessen the life span of your paint job and may cause the clear coat to bubble and chip off. Those of you in the east and mid states snow and rain is a huge factor at eating your paint job and rims...salt in snow is a ***** to paint and exposed metal.

gotta watch out if you park under trees as well sap and pollen are the enemy on paint jobs! pollen when wiped off can cause the hair line scratches and swirls on your paint job by being improperly wiped off the car and sap is even worse when dried onto the paint.

The trouble I've had with car covers is they eventually get filled with dirt. Dust and grit fall on the top and work their way into the fibers. Then you scratch the paint from the grit when you take it off and put it on or when the wind blows. The wash instructions say to use formula 409 in the large coin operated machines at the laundromat but even then I couldn't get it clean. The best cover I ever had was a super lightweight one made for indoor use. It wouldn't stop the rain or the dirt but it would block the sunlight and it was so thin that it would fit in my home washing machine and it never scratched the paint.

I wish I could park my car under some sort of cover. I live in an apartment complex, so all the parking stalls are assigned and the only two paint dings on my car come from the stupid neighbors who park on the left of me. I thought about getting the cover, but its pretty expensive and we are moving this summer hopefully to a house with a garage.
