hey......what about if you had a white lancer and then instead of that red put it to white and then grey or silver to red..... think about it....... i think it would look pretty good.

hey, i'm painting my interior tomorrow, but i can't figure out how to get the rear window roll-down control pieces and all 4 door latch pieces off. can anyone tell me please??!! and how do you paint the piece that has the a/c control knobs without painting over the control display? also, how do you paint metal pieces like the hood prop?

Texture

I am not too certain about the other models / years, but I have an 03 LS, Coronado Sand exterior and Tan interior...anyone suggest color combinations for interior? The tan makes it pretty much not mate up with any colors.
I was thinking of re-spraying the exterior to a black, or dark blue, accenting the cab with blue lights, and replacing the entire interior with a darker color...but that seems like so much money / work for something I could just work around.

Another question, in painting the dash I have a strip of woodgrain going down it, and also, all the dash has a "bumpy" texture to it (is this different in any other lancers?) that seems like it would make the job a pain in the ***. Is this a woodgrain sticker over plastic that can be sanded or removed, or is it woodgrainy with clear coat?

Just a few thoughts for a newby lancer modder...
Removed my badges this weekend...relocating the "L A N C E R" to the interior, somewhere on the dash...after I accent / repaint with the colors I am wanting to go with. May re-color the chrome painted letters when I do it... just a thought, haven't seen it done on here from all the pictures I've seen...will post pics as soon as I get it done.

ozracer for the back doors you need to tack off the whole door panel and the a/c vents just pop out
