Was wondering if anybody had any input on if an evo 8 Splitter would fit on our bumper with some slight modification?? Really looking into getting one but if its gonna be a big hassle then i wont worry about it. BTW Im talking about the splitter that APR makes for the Evo8 but how much different are our bumpers.

No idea but you could call rrm and ask if the one that carbontrix sells will fit on the lancer.they look pretty similar to the other one your looking at. http://www.carbontrix.com/ go there and you can see a pic. Sory its too big to post it.

 

VIS has a nice splitter that i am interested in too...type 2

who was it that made their homemade splitter? it was pretty cool

 

i know that uh...forgot his name...had the eov7kit from IT on his thunder gray lancer with nice pics...

he had a splitter, and i know some guy i PM'ed about his custom made one....

its just a piece of plastic/fiberglass/CF that is connected with rods from the front or bolts to the undercarriage and stuff....i think lol

 

what is the purpose of the splitter?

 

to make slow cars look fast and fast cars to get some downforce

 

once this car gets up to the 100 mph range, the front end lifts up too much. it would be beneficial but when are we gonng go over 100mph?

 

The only guy i know has a splitter on the lancer is Tony (Babyboba29) and he has the evo 7 kit from IT.
