Whats up everyone. I am noticing more and more people getting bodykits on the forum, but without an intercooler the ugly front frame shows through the bumber. When I put on my RMR type 1 lip I couldn't stand the look of the frame showing. What I did was to go to Napa and get som black rubberized undercoat spray, ( I'm sure every auto parts store has this) and the best part is there is no prepping involved- you just spray on a couple coats and let it dry (it takes a very long time to dry). In the end I have a frame that no one can see, and is vertually impervious to rock chips! Try it out people, your car will look cleaner!

 

body kit is just another reason to go Turbo.

Intercoolers look so nice on cars.

 

take pics so we know what you are talking about. I have a body kit and you cant see the front of my frame...

 

i have noticed it being usually on kits like the evo 7. i know exactly what you mean and an intercooler would look dank. an intercooler is a good way to justify having such a huge air dam

 

I don't have a digital camera, but here is a good example of a pic I took off the member's gallery. Although this kit makes the Lancer way better looking, It would still look cleaner without the white frame showing through. I guess a black grill would help too.

 

maybe mine doesnt look that bad because I have a thunder grey car so its kinda hard to see... I've also recently added a dark mesh though, so you really cant see anything now
BTW, I have the Evo VII kit from Accolade

 

I say just get some diamond mesh and stick it in there until you get an intercooler. Most people will never actually turbo charge it but hey whatever. Or, get one of those front mount air intakes. It looks like an intercooler. just my .02c
