digdat, I saw your post in the other thread (the one with the night pic of your grille). All I have to say is "wow, can you get some more?!?!) Also, the pics in this thread won't work for me, it all says "remote linking forbidden".. :-/

Did you have to get the grill painted, or was it black to begin with? I have a red 03 OZ, I wonder how it'd look on mine..

Please! keep us posted! I wonder which part # this is, how much it normally costs, and mostly, can you get us a deal somewhere?

I want one!! I've been thinking for a while of doing this (ala evo VI or VII with a big mitsu logo in the middle).. I thought I'd have to order a trunk badge from a Galant or something ahah.

 

flukester - I got this second hand from a buddy in our car club, but let me see if I can get a part number and look into it.

this grille, stock from mitsu is exactly as you see it - chrome outer ring and black slats.

I wouldn't imagine your buddy sold it to you with a very huge loss? Meaning, the suggested retail price ought to not be SO much higher than what you paid right?

Looking forward for more information about this.. I like how chrome looks with my red car, but there is too much of it.. This grille would look awesome..

It looks good too! Somehow, I still like the one digdat has though.. It looks more like an original mitsu product (probably because his is, but I don't know about yours though..) Actually, I don't like the mesh as much as I like the plastic things.. and definitely like the big mitsu logo on it.. I'm still interested to know exactly which brand/product yours is, and what your fitment experiences were..

thats not my flavor .. as I really don't like the stock grille as it looks like a thong .. BUT .. if your going for a chrome look, it could look slick.

 

Here is my RRM grill.... I wish the fitment was a little better but it is 100x better than the stock thong
