personally man I veiw rice as a mentality rather than a car. I mean yes I see your point but, I think that I like it personally, it isnt gonna be painted orange (white, like my car) and I am not about to attach a 13 foot spoiler. If anything the stock evo spoiler is more "rice" than that.
I am not buying this just yet most likley because I have other things I want to adress first reguarding my lancer.
But please explain more in depth how this is rice? Or outline what makes something rice.

I see the coolest oz in atelope valley belongs to you, which apparently is because if your evo 7 spoiler. But how dose that spoiler really not fit into the same catgory as these fenders. Neither of them have preformance related aspects (cut the downforce bull**** your car isnt a jet fighter) It was put on I assume strictly from a cosmetic standpoint, such as these fenders will be on mine.

FWIW the color match they did is bad, so don't pay extra for them to paint it! 2nd, if the vents aren't functional and can't scoop hot air out of the engine bay (and the way our fenders are designed, they can't) then I don't see a point. This would look too much like a honda swap to me, and if I can't be TRULY different, then I'm going to look like everybody else! (that is to say, I'm staying stock)

The Evo 8 wing actually DOES create downforce. But, it's effect is wasted since our rear tires aren't powered- he's actually making himself a little slower by adding "weight" to his rear end in the form of downforce.

Rice is something that doesnt "belong" to a specific car. Z3 fenders were designed for the BMW Z3, hence the name "Z3 Fenders". Putting it on a car that doesnt look anything like a bmw z3 would be rice for that reason. i aint talkin about it no more, just like he said, if you still dont understand rice, look it up.

 

Oh and to comment on the evo 7 spoiler on the lancer..

Evo 7 spoiler belongs on the lancer due to the fact that the evo 7 in itself is based on the same body style. Therefore not rice. Pwned.

I think your getting a little to seriouse. And none the less the evolution 7 spoiler was made for a evolution 7, not a lancer oz. They already have a spoiler for the lancer oz.

And by body style what do you mean, sedan? sportscar? compact car? Oh well. I'm not gonna get any more serious with you. To each his own and if you can't agree to disagree then thats just you being childish.

My origional point remains, your car obviously dosen't need the spoiler, it is a cosmetic part, just as these fenders are. So don't bring me down just cause I dont like the sames things as you. If everyone in antelope valley had that car would it be the hottest on the road? Probobly not.
