Aftermarket pedals
Are there any aftermarket pedals that require the removal of the stock ones? If so how do you remove the stock ones and install the new ones?
What are your momo's made of? I'm also interested in replacing the nasty rubber stock pedals, and like the carbon fiber sparco's but was not sure if they might break and that a metal based pedal would be better.

It is a ***** to install pedals if you have to drill. (Some cheap kinds have clamps that slide on and adjust with bolts and nuts and brackets) The stock pedals are very thick and you have to deal with the very thick bar that the flat part of the pedal is attached too. the gas pedal is even worse as it is a plastic piece molded around the metal. Mine are crooked but I haven't bothered grinding them and straightening them. (look in my registry for a pic...) i have Sparcos.. they are metal. Will get new ones but not a high priority. Need a clutch.
I had to drill mine for the screws. It went pretty sweet, but I had to remove the lower part of the dash and the support bar to get the drill at a 90 degree angle. Pretty easy install...check my profile to see my pedals
