You are basically comparing applies to oranges here. For soem reason it seems like the "low enough" attitude is not what you have. Obviously, most of the population on the forum would say to kit your car but can you afford to kit your car? All the body work and paint, etc. If you really were considering getting a kit to lower car(which is the weirdest reason ever), you arent really lowering the car, you will still have the same wheel gap.

It seems like a more logical choice would be the tein coilovers from Road Race, you can absolutely slam your car on tein coilovers, take a look at the show and shine thread called "azyan meet ozlancerlunitic" and you will see that on teins I tuck 17s in the rear of my car and I have almost 2 more inches i could go down in the front.

I'd say go with coilovers. It gives you adjustability which springs don't, and that is VERY important once you get a kit on. Nothing would be worse than to buy a kit, paint it, and install it, only to find out that your car sits too low to safely drive around.

And as of right now, there are no shocks available for the Lancer.

I say both. but if I had to choose I'd pick the body kit. But a body kit also has to be painted and installed. Like ghostrider said forget the springs, get coilovers. Coils just need to be installed and it doesn't cost nearly as much as a bodykit does to install/paint.

Skunk2 makes coilovers for the OZ and I'm sure it'll be less than either of the Tein kits.
