Evangelis...what I've got, what I have planned!

Here is my car as of June 29, 2004: I've never posted my car before, I've had her for 1 year and 12 days. I call her "Evangelis" partly named after my ex-girlfriend and just 'cause I like the name. Below is basically a blue print to the life of the car.

Modded list: (Already installed mods)
1.] Altezza CF tails
2.] AEM CAI

DIY projects & minor stuff: (Stuff I've done)
1.] Painted calipers
2.] Painted HL housings - Thanks for the how-to's EvoM!
3.] Fog light installation
4.] CF shift knob
5.] Pioneer DVD Player
6.] Sub installation
7.] CF windshield wipers (Oh yeah!)
8.] 5% tint
9.] Wind deflectors

Definite modifications list: (To be installed at some point in car's life)
1.] RRM TB
2.] RRM Manifold
3.] Apex II body Kit (Love this look!)
4.] Magnaflow Cat-back exhaust
5.] 17 - inch Gunmetal rims (Brand to be determined)
6.] RRM LSD
7.] B&M short throw
8.] Racing seats (Brand & Color to be determined)
9.] High-flow cat (Already have, not installed, waiting for more engine mods)
10.] Kamakaze headers w/ MIL Eliminator

Debating modifications list: (Still debating on these)
1.] RRM Turbo (Assume all internals will be upgraded for full potential)
2.] RIPP S/C (Assume all internals will be upgraded for full potential)
3.] RRM Evo Style Grill
4.] Ralliart Grill

Please feel free to give suggestions, comments, complaints about what I should, shouldn't, or shouldn't have done to my car!

Totally forgot about the grill, yes I do plan on getting a new grill. I have read the post about the Ralliart on ebay and actually took a look at it. I'm not sure if that would look better than the CF Evo Style replacement on RRM. My original plan was to go CF Evo style w/ CF eyelids, not sure if that would be too much or what. Hmmm, that will have to go in debatable but I know I'll have to decide quick for the Ralliart.

Yeah I understand what you're saying now, it's just there have been problems w/ the CEL when installing headers and I'm not sure if I want to be bothered w/ the CEL. Here's the link to that post:

Thanks for the inpizzut!

Finally someone else who likes the ApexII and not the Ken! Do you plan on getting the kit this year? It's only $499 shipped right now!

Yeah I plan on getting it this year. I want to make my car fast too rather than just look fast so the next few mods will be for performance. Where did you find it for $499? I was planning on getting it from Jivemotorsports.com w/o the Evo VII hood for $599. Then I will get the hood later.

have you seen kamikaze's headers? They have the o2 bung hole in the right place (haha, I said bung hole) and they wont throw a CEL if you install the optional MIL Eliminator. Thats what I did and I have never had a problem with the CEL coming on!! I believe I saw the kamikaze headers on the Jive site.

Yeah I just took a look at them. I understand that headers will accent the engine and help gain that extra performance, I just don't like the idea of my CEL coming on every now and then. So when you say optional, do you mean they send it with the headers and leave it up to the consumer to install?

I think it cost me an extra $15... but it only took 10 minutes (or less) to install!! You just splice it into the o2 sensor at the cat convertor and you're good to go. I'd email them and find out

Alright, more than likely you sold me on kamakaze. I'll give them an e-mail when I'm ready to get the headers.

Thank you! From surfing around these forums I know the potential of this car and hopefully I can get it to run the streets sooner than later!

Yeah that's not supposed to be there. That happened when I was resizing it and I couldn't undo it. So instead of trying to fix it and make the picture look doctored up I just left it.
