Which Body-Kit?

Hello all, I'm new to the forums but I think you'll have something to say anyway

Which body kit do you think I should get, or what do you think is the most popular?
I'm thinking of going with the EVO VII Techsports. I have 18" rims, so the body kit would make my car look awesome. Just wondering what you guys think.

Also on a side note, I was thinking of lowering my car, but with the 18's it already looks low. Plus, all the springs I found lower it by almost 2 inches and I don't think there'd be enough room if I bought a body kit and springs. Any ideas?

yeah I also like the import trenz Tracer kit ... its pretty slick.

as for springs, there are ones out there that drop a little bit .. not 2 inches. the question really is, with lowering springs, will you need to get your fenders rolled (with the 18" rims).

well, to answer the spring question i just got tein s-techs on my car. I installed them myself and the front is a 1.8 inch drop. I was surprised though..the fender was not right over the wheel. I still have the stock oz rims but 18's shouldn't make that much of a size difference. Lost the rear sway bar due to the springs though, 3 out of 4 bolts snapped when removing it from the perches. Now mitsu has it and they put the stock springs back on because something else broke. Also i have an aftermarket exhaust and apperently they can't put the sway bar back on because of the hangers...

How much do you guys think it would cost to paint it and install it. I don't want a sucky paint job either, don't want it to crack or peel

lol 1,000 bucks? That's more than the kit itself! Maybe I'll just follow kareem's painting guide and do it myself :P

Average is 600 dollars for 4 piece (front bumper, sides R/L, rear bumper) and about 2000-3000 dollars for the whole car. I'm gonna repaint my car this coming fall in my school body shop. By that, I will only need to spend 300-400 dollars for the paint cuz I'm gonna paint it myself.hehe. Well, if you gonna paint the kit yourself then you need to be very careful cuz painting is not that easy especially when it is your first time. It may look easy but it's hard if you're a beginner. Paint is also expensive. You will also need a compressor and spray guns. Oh well, if your gonna do it yourself, goodluck and pls post some pics.hehe.

Define "easy." 2 hours? 10 hours? a week? Drilling? Cutting? I don't want to have to do surgery on my car lol
