Prolly gonna be around $700-800 (CF is expensive).

 

cf is expensive but that still seems a lot for a lip. adam keans isnt cf but is cf wrapped so wouldnt be as exxpensive but i dont think it was near that amount. you can get cf mugen and type r lips for a civic, prelude, or accord for like 150.

 

I bet Kareem is right...It'll probably run around $800 for the whole lip kit. My CF wrapped front lip alone was $300 just to have it wrapped and they quoted me $500 if I wanted it to be a molded lip and not wrapped so I would expect it to run pretty high.....I'm guessing the reason they are so cheap for the Civics, Preludes, etc is that there is Incredible demand and they can be mass produced so they can sell them for less....That is just my guess

oh i thot kareem was jsut talking about a front lip, makes sense if he was talking about ss and a rear lip as well.

 

cf is ok as long as you have other exterior parts that is cf too.
I think the cheapest material to use is abs plastic and still durable unlike firberglass.

 

i also would prefer something cf for looks but more importantly would need something affordable which is the problem with the only lips on the market, rmr's.

give me some ideas of the lip kit that you guys have in mind, and my cmopnay sleek concepts and design will see what we can do to help. i own a 2003 lancer so fitment will be good. we actually are working on a full kit for the 02-03 and 04 lancers at this time. if you have ideas photoshop them and email them to me or soemthing of that nature. when we decide on a kit to produce i will set up a price and a we will do a group buy to see who all is interested.

I'm apart of the evolutionm.net community which i'm sure you are already aware of and have worked with. There are quite a few people that are looking for a lip kit for their lancer, both old and new. People like it because it should be much cheaper to buy and paint, will allow the reinforcement bar to remain on the car, and still give some sort of ground effects look to it.
