Ok, im getting the evo-look a like tails from one of these companies, the only thing is they look a lil bit different or maybe its just me. Should i buy from Nopi (136.99) or Matrix Racing (139.35)? Shipping on both tails is $18. Also, Matrix Racing is located in southern cali, where as NOPI is located in georgia, i live in cali... but the shipping dates are the same 4-7days. Another thing, i called MR today and they told me they dont have the lights in stock, they have to order them than ship them to me, but it wouldnt be long since i live in southern cali or they said I can come pick them up, but i dont feel like driving in this hot weather. I check on stock status of the nopi lights and they have them in. Also are both these lights from depo? or do other companies make similar lights? heres pics.

Also, leave the childish comments about the clear/chrome away. I have a silver lancer and i know what looks good on it, black or CF is honestly not my style. Ive seen these tails on a silver lancer and i like the look of the stock tails on the silver evo VIII. Also, no... i dont wanna buy from RRM tails that cost 190 and thats not including shipping.

 

of the two i'd go with the mr ones. like you said, its a subtle difference. so subtle that I really can't put my finger on what it is. But at first look the matrix racing ones just appealed to me more.

 

they're both really similar..... hmmmmmmmm...... i say go for the ones that are in stock.

it looks to me like on the MR the lenses or at equal depth, whereas the NOPI seem to have 1 lens raised from the other. its hard to tell though...

on the MR ones theres a red reflector on the side...not in the NOPI ones its clear there...i say go NOPI

 

umm i wanna let you know that those tail light are depo gen1. this mean that both red circle wont light up!.

I like how NOPI doesnt have that reflector, also another thing... i checked other sites that offer the same tails MR has, and there all by DEPO. DEPO tails have that lil side reflector. The NOPI ones dont have the side reflector, its just clear casing, so who makes these or are these a version2 by depo?

hope im not too late, been so tired to be on the forum
well anyway let me explain to you
our STOCK uses only 1 brake bulb remember.
so the first tail light that came out was made for stock harness.
the Depo v2 that Roadrace sell come with brand new harness that uses 2 brake light bulbs.
its a plug n play thing. so just spend a bit more money n go buy from RRM.

 

^^^ im still confused man, explain more indepth. So if the lights wont lite, than there defected? I know we only have 1 brake light, thats fine. Im still a bit confused.

DEPO tail have 2 red circle, each circle have a hole for bulb
the older tail lamp have only 1 HOLE for 1 RED CIRCLE.
get it?

 

whaaaaaa, so one red circle is USELESS!!!!!!! GAWD DAM thats triffling. So the ones that are useless is the tails that MR sells or the ones NOPI sells. For example, the depo tails MR sells have a lil reflector on the side, the tails nopi sells doesnt so, which taisl are the "useless" one?
