Just Debadged the trunk

As the thread says I just debadged my trunk and I gotta say looks great! Nice and clean, way better than stock. Required some time though, like hour and a half. Heating the glue and using plenty of goo gone seems to work though. Just gotta be sure to wax it afterwards.

Yeah the glue was really on there. I also heard horror stories of bubbled paint so I was pretty conservative with the heating.

Yeah I just used a hairdryer on low setting for like 3 minutes each letter. Loosened the glue just enough.

Yeah i used fishing line, any thin, but strong wire type would work though.

took me about 20 mins....and i just used a blow dryer and ripped the letters off, haha.

heated them til i could slide em around...than using a towel and all kinds of crazy **** got the glue off.

easiest/fastest way...but most dangerous....acetone free nail polish remover.

dabbed it on a towel...rubbed the glue right off instantly, than took a hose and sprayed it downa nd cleaned teh **** out of it, than waxed it 3 times, haha. nothing bad happened, so its cool.

If the paint's actually BUBBLING, damn, you're using something WAYY too hot to melt the glue. I didn't use ANY heat, just dental floss, worked fine, then a little goof-off/
