Im thinkig of debaging the trunk and just leaving the emblem, what do u guys think?

 

Debadged mine completely...looks much cleaner...I say DO IT!

 

I like the nice clean look. I took mine off excepet where it says evolution. I cut the evolution down to just say EVO and put it back in the original position. Without the markings on the side many people at our local hangout go to the front and look for the intercooler because with no badges they aren't sure if it is a fixed up lancer or a EVO

 

Just the mitsu emblem looks pretty good. I've it on my tarmac black with some evo VII tails. Looks nice.

 

i have plans this weekend to debadge. but i am putting a different badge on as a replacement

i'd put on the JDM evolution badge spread out like the Lancer badge, but EVOLUTION across the entire trunk. My Evo came from the lot with just the little Lancer badge so i'm gonna have to take that off and get the JDM badge

I did this:
Place the emblem a little high but not to worried since I want to get a CF trunk lid.

 

My car is silver.

I took the "Lancer Evolution" off, black vinyled over my diamond emblem, and will order the black UK badge as soon as it's available again.

It definately looks clean without the badge. Park the car outside with the emblem facing the sun for an hour or so first, it loosens up the glue a bit.

 

I took off the "lancer Evoulution" and left the dimonds. I put red reflective tape over the dimonds. The car is Tarmac Black. Now all I need is those VII tails to complet the look.

 

wow....that just looks too cluttered!! well at least you are getting a cf trunk....when you get it...put the UK badge on there!!! loose the lancer badge!

 

Well not getting the cf trunk for some time but I have something up my sleeve for that badging.

 

I personally love the way my rear end looks. VII tails and the UK badge. I would recommend that, but if you are only considering leaving it stock or taking them off, then I say keep the diamond star and just lose the "lancer evolution". Just my 2 cents......

 

What is the easiest way to remove the badging, as well as put new badges on?

I might wanna remove mine, and get the UK badging...

Also, do they have black UK badging?
