carbon fiber front lip

i am thinking about producing a carbon fiber front lip for the 02-03 lancer and possibly the 04 model as well. both of these ideas depend on how many people i can get that might be interested in this lip. the lip will be a carbon fiber version of the oz lip. the price for the lip will be 225 plus shipping andthe price for a whole lip kit(front, back, and sides) will be 650 plus shipping and the first five orders in the continental united states will recieve free shipping. i will not begin production on this lip until i find out how many people are interested. if you are seriously interested place your name in this list.

1.pgmike
2.evoloz02
3.boni
4.
5.

when i have five interested people i will begin work on the lip and it will probably take about a month before i will be able to actually start making them.

There will be a greater market if you make it so you don't have to modify your bumper, most don't like the idea of having to cut away part of their car.

I've thought the same thing. My idea was to make the lip kit from the OZ in Carbon fiber. Those fit all lancers and wouldn't be too hard to do. You already would have a plug, just need to make the fiberglass mold. I've no skill in this area, but have talked to some places about how to make it. If you'd llike to use my front lip, I can donate it for the plug. PM me if you think this might work. Materials don't cost that much. It is just labor intensive. Glad to know I"m not the only one thinking along these lines.

i actually drive an oz so i can popthe mold off of that if you think that just the oz lip would be cool. i will do an all carbon fiber version of the oz.

as far as creating a lip similar to RMR lip type 1 without cutting the front bumper. Its not possible cause the type 1 opens the mouth to about 6 inches. Stock bumper is only about a 2-3 inch opening
