Hahahaha heck yeah man i hear you on that.... freakin show off that you've got a body kit... but your butt is tooo poor to get a paint job.... my brother an i both have body kits still waiting to be painted and put on.. and putting them on unpainted is out of the question....
just make sure you test fit your kits first. i've installed bodykits on other cars and they seemed fine but after painting them and installing them the kits cracked at corners and the seams nearest to the bolts because they hold the most stress from the down force or lift from the wind/driving and just plain stupid driving on speed bumps and driveways dragging their kits. so what ends up happening is that i'd have to take their kits off sand them all down again and fill in the cracks and chips and repaint charging them another 300-800 depending on the damage.
thats why i think its better for someone to test fit the bumper and run around for a day or two. thats what i've done and i've already encountered alot of cracks and chips on the sideskirts, my aftermarket hood also had some problems and i also found a thin opening between the body of my car and the sideskirt thats making a weird whiney noise that i had to fix because air was squeezing through the undercarriage of the car into the sideskirt and out the little crack.
it does look ricey but atleast i get my kit on there and not have to worry about anything besides my driving. check once, check twice and if you've done that check again. fiberglass does warp and bend especially in the heat, outside in the sun.

Well i wanted to add another layer... or reinforce the areas where i thought would be the weakest link with fiber glass... but will that be tooo heavy for the body kit to handle? or will it be okay?
1 layer won't really help a layer of glass is like a layer piece of paper. especially after soaking it. if you really want to reinforce your kit put on 3-4 layers maybe even more depending where you are putting it.
depending on how many layers you put but a few layers 3-4 wont be too heavy but ultimately i have to warn you fiberglass is fragile especially on hard impacts adding layers may hold up against the common stresses from daily driving but once you hit a curb or run over something the size of a basketball the fiberglass will give way.
