Too much cf for the exterior?
nice photoshop work! Now to the cf on the car...No just dont, thats what my opinion is. CF hood and wing nothing more because the only thing that cf is supposed to be used for is weight reduction and unless you have 300+hp I don't see why you would have cf everything. Now if you got cf bumpers and stuff with some sort of custom cf look-a-like vinle work done to complement the bumpers, I don't know maybe, but like I said this is my opinion and you need to do whatever makes you happy
i have a question. if carbon fiber is only used for weight reduction then why would you want to put it on the front of your car, i.e. hood?? you would want the front end of a front drive car to be heavier for better traction. and carbon fiber is also used as a style point not just weight reduction. anyway, someone said something about cf fenders. pm me and i will work something out with you and we will see if we can get those made.

it would actually look good. i meet up with shaggy every now and then and he drives a silver lancer with charcoal lips and skirts. its not carbon fiber, but its pretty close. looks pretty good to me.

actually the air from the front of your car is redirected to the sides of the vehicle when you drive and doesnt create much downforce. downforce is created by high pressure air or air that is unmoved by the car. the only real place that occurs while driving is the roof of the vehicle. the air directly over the vehicel is not disturbed by the car. that is why drag racers adn the like put really big wings on their vehicles, to catch the unmoved, high pressure air. if you put a wing on the car that does nto reach the roof line their is really not a lot that occurs. it will however create a negative air pocket behind the car where no is being moved and at speeds exceeding about 190 mph actually flip the car around. anyway, im not here to argue physics and things like that, pumpdog i actually like the carbon all the way around a little better. my opinion.
basicly were both right, b.c at the weight of our car, a cf hood isn't gunna remove much traction, and is mostly for show. but u sure do like to type alot, and i didn't read ur whole post... b/c i don't really like to read, so u can win this one bro

pumpdog, i like both ideas. however, i think they would look better if you jsut has one slat going along the bottom center of the bumper. maybe try chopping a pic of the bumper with jsut the top slat and one with jsut the bottom slat, may look good.
I think you should ditch the lancer & get an EVO. then you could do this:
