I got new wheels check them out **56k warning**
Well i finally got new wheels and tires. here's the important stuff.
Motegi DP6 17x7 (silver)
Motegi 12x1.5mm "Spline" Lug nuts (Black, of course!!)
Toyo Proxes 4 - 205/40/17
I'd like to thank Glenn at Motegi Racing for the cooperation and interest in this project. Also Gabe and Rock at RRM for the great deal and fast service on the tires. I'm very impressed with the looks and feel of this set-up. Although i did put on a couple lbs. of dead weight the drive feels steardier than the stock setup.
Post up people let me know what you think.

calipers and drums are next for sure.
to many people with black lancers went that route. i want to build a car that everyone can appreciate old or young. to me painted rims are a trend and true they might look better but it's not worth lookig like every other thunder grey or black Lancer on this forum. the contrast of silver and black is not bad at all it blends nicely with the sidemarkers and reverse lights. I'll get more pics in a couple of hours when the sun sets a little. the sun was right on the car during those pics so the rims appear brighter than they really are.

thanks man i'll look into it-
nothing worng with getting gunmetal on black..true that a lot of people have gotten them but how many times in cali do you see a black lancer with gunmetal/black rims...VERY FEW...silver rims just dont look as good anymore....just my opinion though
