Ive had some chrome depos just sitting in my house for a long time now, not wanting to put ricey chrome tails on my car. At first i planned on blacking out the housings. Then i decided on tinting the lens red. Now i cant decide. I think both would look pretty good. What do you guys think i should do?

edit: forgot to say that my lancer is red bc that may affect your decisions.

 

i love the look of the red evo 7 style tails so i personally would go with that

lets keep this to serious responses, but i would also liek to hera some other real ideas that would be an option.

 

I would black them out it would stand out a lot more than red on a red car... the red will never match your paint right and I think would look out of place but thats just my 2 cents

 

well teh stock tails are obviously red and tehy dont match teh car either. if i tint them tehn they wouldnt look aftermarket except to a lacner owner. i dont want my car to stand out too much in a neg way, and blacking them out may get that kidn of a response. jsut cant decide. if i blacked them out tehn they would match my headlights and future wheels tho.

 

If your blackin out your headlights and gettin black wheels Then you should DEFINATLY black out the tails for sure. It will complete the look that you have on the rest of your car.

lol sorry bro but I think it would look WAY better on your car with the setup you have and will have (wheels) it only makes sence to keep things consistant otherwise your car will look like you started something and didn't finish it

 

yeah i know what you are saying, plus im getting a cf splitter and reflectors so it would be sticking with teh dark on red theme.

 

maybe.. black out the inside housing, then tint the outside red?? i duno, j ust a thought

 

i was thinking about that b4 too but i dont know if it would look good. it woudl be diff tho. it could look good but if it didnt i would hav wasted teh tails.
