Yeah, I remember back in the day when the lancer was first released they had the same spray tinted headlights on the xenon body kitted lancer.

I saw a website a while ago where some kids used tinted Saran Wrap to make the headlights blue. IIRC, it took about 6 layers before they were happy with the color.
