Talking Trunk Badging Idea!!!

Well, right now all I have on my trunk is the Evo VIII small "lancer" in the bottom left hand corner and the origonal chrome emblem in its stock location. I had a custom made real carbon fiber badge that is slightly smaller than the stock one on the trunk. The cf piece is now adhered to the face of the badge, showing just a little outline of the .

Anyway............ I have a bottle of paint (thunder grey) that was the left overs from the body shop from when I had my Ken front bumper painted. Ok now onto the painting idea. I was thinking about painting my "lancer" badge in thunder grey, and shaving off my chrome badge. I would then remove (carefully) the carbon fiber badge and place that directly onto the car.

Now time for the positioning options:
1) have the cf in the left hand corner of the trunk and place the paint "lancer" over it (so it kinda looks double layered)
2) put the cf in the stock location and place the painted "lancer" in the lower left of the trunk
3) put the cf in the bottom left hand corner and the place the pained "lancer" directly next to it (on the right)
4) dont use the cf and just put the painted "lancer" on the bottom left corner

Please lemme know what you guys think would look the best!
Any other ideas would be nice to hear to!

As Aways,
~ Nick ~

I took all the badges off & put a custom "Evolution VIII" decal on the top right portion of the trunklid. I like how clean it looks.

well...at least VTEC a real thing...not like the backwards "R racing" stickers from autozone that people of a certain culture display proudly on their...umm...cars...

LOL V-Tec.........if u gonna perp, do it right, get a Mivec sticker. Leaving your trunk bare *** is the best way, in my opinion. It keeps the car looking clean.
