Anywho, that link to bulletproofautomotive does have the part. Go to aero parts and scroll down to HKS Kansai Service and its the "Front grille, carbon fiber". And don't worry, you can get this part that doesnt fit your car for only 330 bucks plus shipping from japan Gives you at least 10 hp and makes that $15k car look exactly like the million dollar Evo rally car.

named it dude, carbon fiber front grille. Thats it. Buy it, figure out that it doesnt fit, then cry because you coulda made the same thing out of 40 bucks worth of carbon fiber cloth or 40 cents worth of plastic.

If he was a high roller, he wouldn't be asking about the part, he would have the Evo VII with that carbon fiber grille already on it.

 

Thanks alot guys for the help identifying what it was. I'm having a bodyshop design a custom front end and wanted to add that peice into it but wanted to do more research to find out its purpose incase it wasnt just for looks.
