Has anyone tried or succeded in converting the rear drum brakes to rotors with pads ?? hope you understand me ??

 

do you mean converting it a disc brake instead of drum brake? no i dont believe anybody has done it, not really necessary imo.

no problem. if you really want to try and do it, then you could by the wilwood big brake kit and modify it to work for the rear brakes.

 

well i replaced my front rotors and was thinking no use for the old stock rotors might as well put them for some good use and besides when i have to change my brakes ends up being alot easier than the drums....

 

Sure, Kontradictions did it and I'm sure a few others. RPW even sells a kit for rear disc conversions. But it isn't as simple as just putting your old front rotors back there... and if you could put them back there, you wouldn't want to. See this thread for more information too.

No worries... Besides, while it may still be Kontra's car, it doesn't belong to Kontra anymore...
