EFD on a Lancer
EFD on a Lancer
I've read in other parts of this forum that the Evo 8 Springs fit on the us lancer, well if this is the case would Tein's electronic force dampener (EFD) work for the US lancer too, I've been searching for this all over the place and I haven't seen it up come up as an issue, anyone know, if that's the case, that's how I'm going to go. click the button and lower and go. Sounds good to me if it will work.
someone give me some insite please, suspension / tires / wheels is my next step and I want to get it done right.

My understanding was, you are right it does stiffen the springs, but it also lowers it a little bit to accomplish this (that's what I thought at least). Eitherway, what I am looking for is if it will work on the US lancer, since, as I said before evo8 springs fit the U.s. lancer (supposedly) so in theory why wouldn't EFD work on the US lancer as they only have it listed for the evo8
if you mean tein EDFC (electronic dampening force controller) which sits on top of the struts... it wont work... at least it wont work on the front b/c the hood wont be able to close. and if this is what you are talking about blaze is correct, it only increases or decreases the dampening in the strut. does not lower as far as i know.
