Smile Need to know

I am going to get some rims from enkei and I have the Lancer 02 Oz Rally. The size I am going for is 17" more specificly 17x7. These are the questions I have.
#1. Can I stick a 5 lug rim on my Lancer (I have heard no.).
#2. If I get 4x100(bolt pattern) rim will it fit? If it says 4x100/114.3 what does that mean and will that fit.

And if anyone knows a really good site that sells enkei rims please write them in as well..and I mean really good at good prices.

Thank You.

#1 - NO not cheaply, you could try and do a conversion from a ralliart, but it'll cost more than it's worth
#2 - 4X114.3 is the ONLY size that will fit stock, what that means is 4 bolts, with 114.3 mm between them (or 4.5 inches same dif)

EDIT: oh yeah, and no offense, but please use the search feature next time, it's there for a reason. This exact question has been answered 30x over

1. Yes but it is very far from cost-effective. You'll need to get the original bolt pattern filled and then redrill the wheels to 4x114.3. I have no idea how much that will cost but it won't be cheap.

2. Unless the 4x100 wheel is dual drilled it won't. Most popular wheel lines are dual drilled so they can fit on more car models (honda - civic 4x100, accord 4x114.3; mitsu - lancer es 4x100, ls/oz 4x114.3). It's entirely possible that those 4x100 wheels you're looking at are dual drilled and will fit your oz.

One good place that comes to mind is Whalen Tire (whalentire.com). Another good thing to look at when you go there is the difference in size between your stock 15s vs 17s or whatever size you decide on. Unless you get the exact height (the ES can switch to a 205/40/17 and maintain the EXACT size) your speedometer will be off. If you end up with wheels that are shorter than stock your speedometer will read faster than you're actually travelling. If you end up with wheels that are taller your speedometer will read slower.

Thanks

Hey guys thanks for the input. Sorry never knew there was a search lol. I dont get what you mean by maintain the same wheel. You mean the tire right(i get confused), and if I can't do that I have to make adjustments correct?

I think he was referring to the overall height, if that changes by even a little, the speedo reading will be off, not much you can adjust to make up for that, just have to know how far off it is

Sorry for the confusion in terms there. But then again, you don't drive with just wheels and no tires, right? I meant the entire wheel and tire combo. Again, check out whalentire.com cuz they have a nice comparison with your stock tire size and aftermarket tire sizes.

And as for adjusting your speedometer, I'm not sure if you can have that done.
