Snow tire instal problem

I just wanted to know if anyone else had a problem installing snow tire on their cars.
My 03 OZ is dropped 1.5''
bought some Toyo GO2 Oberves in a 195/65/15 and they didn't fit, especially everytime I turned the wheel.Mounted on stock wheels.
So I had to order new tires Toyo Observe Gait HT's in a 195/55/15. Hopefully this will work>

195-65-15.........= 24.98 tire diameter

195-55-15.........= 23.44

That's 1 1/2 inch difference. Excactly how much you lowered the car.

And also 195/65 is a higher tire than the stock 195/60 size. Maybe some 185/65s would have made more sense, getting you more effective tires for the snow too, but going to a larger profile just makes no sense.

I think that the shop realized the mistake, they apologized and they ordered me another set of tires, which I will pick up on thursday.
