suspension

i got these "cahsis tech" (never heard of them) coilovers from justcoilovers.com and i now realize the mistake i made. anyway, on the front ones, the adjustable sleeve won't even slide of over the top of the strut by just a few mm's. once you pull out the dustcap and bumpstop it has this golden lip that seems to be pressed on. it looks like it doesn't really do much. does anybody know if i can pull this thing off, so i can slide the sleeve over then maybe just tap the golden lip back on.

Return them dude and go with a known brand. You don't want to kill shock with TAIWAN junk springs.
