Why Me?

i seem to be cursed i to everything i can myself so i got the instructions for the springs put them on and now when i drive its sounds reaallllyyyy bad when i hit a bump or anything especially on the front right i think i know why...

the top of the strut isn't tightend enough. so i try to tighten it as much as the front left bc that one won't move another inch and i get now where then i realize i am turning the whole shock i will figure this out tomm its almost 1 am here and i stopped working at 8, i have been doing this since 10 am in between that i went and replaced 3 craftsmen air tool sockets, 11/16ths to be exact my car ate them up getting some of the nuts off and right now isn't the best time to be running to the mall ever hour whith all these shoppers so word to the wise make sure you have the proper tools, impact wrenches/guns are needed badly!!!

overall i give the springs a 10 once i get this fixed shouldn't be a problem i just need a lil more time to get the kinks worked out

i know what you mean. i was going to install my springs the other day and one lug..out of all of them was stuck. just a mere lug... i rented some lifts and junk(which i didnt even get to use) and then i had to put everything back. kinda sucks cause i broke 2 socket wrenches and demolished the actual socket. so i had to take it to an autoshop and haven them take it off, since they're the dummies who overtightened the damn thing. so now, my springs sit in my garage still waiting to be installed. i can't start until it stops raining here, so i'm out of luck. sucks!! hopefully i'll have more luck next week

Yeah, but at least you're getting a new ECU, coilovers and wheels.

EDIT: and a ride in a nice WRX.

Yes, they're replacing it. Kinda long story, but I'm sure Smokt'll share it if he's in the mood.

good news
aparently murphy's laws only work on fridays because today i tightend down all the shocks and the ride is perfect, in fact, i think its smoother now than before. i will have pics later to show u what i did wrong, it will be in the review section if you interested

I C...hmmmm

When we install the front strut bar and rear stabilizer bar, I'll ensure that everything is tightened down properly. I'm also curious regarding the degree of improvement this will have on my overall ride. Currently, my ride is so bouncy, I can only gun the Lan with confidence on a straightaway. As soon as I hit a small bump at high speed, the wheel wells carve a new groove in my rear tires. That can't be a good thing. I like a really hard ride, let's see if adding these components will ensure optimal results...
