help with strut bar install!

ok, thanks in advance

I just picked up a used RMR Strut bar and when i went to install it, the bolts dont match up to the holes on the strut bar. What do I do?

Also, will the 04+ Lancer Ralliart strut bar fit an 03 Lancer OZ? I assume so because they have the same frame but i just want to be sure...

thanks again

you'll have to lift the car (by the chassis) to unload the suspension for it to line up, lots of people have had this problem, just 'encourage' it to fit

the ralliart bar would fit side-to-side, but there are some mount points welded onto the firewall that the OZ does not have

i agree witht he side to side fitment, i am also concerned about hood clearance...

also, i thought i was someone selling the same strut bar that is in the Ralliart without that firewall mount...?

then it wouldn't have to be a 'ralliart' bar per se, just lancer, PDXRalliart makes an awesome strut bar, much like RRM's, I have one on my car, installation was sooooo easy, took about 30 minutes for all 3 bars I bought

read my first post, try jacking the car up to get the load off the suspension, or maybe only one side, and it'll take a little 'encouraging' to get it on
