is there any othere cars out there that use shorter shocks and struts that will bolt on a lancer cuz i want to lower my lancer a full 3in or 4 in if i can and i thought i could get shorter shocks and stuts off a diffrent car and bolt it on my car and that will lower it a bit right there and then get coilovers for those shocks and lower it more

 

 

umm...if you lower the Lancer more then 3 inches camber correction is almost impossible even with a correction kit (they only do so much) and the front wheels will keep hitting the wheel well on every bump...aaaaaand you won't be able to turn your front wheels all the way.

The back can be lowered about 3.5 inches cuz there is room...after that its just pointless cuz the camber becomes soo negative you'll be going through tires every week.

why do you want such a big drop. the ride will suck horribly and you'll be hitting the ground all the time.

get an air ride suspension if you want it that low.

 

you have to cut and weld but 99 mirage front struts are almost a inch shorter. This only works on the front the rears from the 99 will not work I used the KYB AGX it adjustable.
