I've heard some bad things about the ground controls, that they're not true coilovers, so you lose like half the travel in your struts. Between your two choices, I'd do the Tein springs and add the KYBs later... wait, where did you find KYB? I can only find Koni... anyway, I am personally deciding between Tein coilover kit (full kit struts and springs) or Koni (or KYB if you tell me where you found them) struts with Progress springs. That's my .02

KYB is sold by RMR. They are KYB struts with the Ralliart name on them. $399.

ground control coilovers have a high spring rate and will result in a bad ride. tien is a better company but you should save for their complete suspension kit. it will be worth it in the long run.

I apologize for being off topic but who was the person who said he can hook me up with Skunk2 coilovers for $2xx dollars????

I read somewhere that RMR dont carry those anymore. Something about supply & demand was low so they dont have them anymore.

I take back my previous comment about Ground Control. After looking at a person's set-up (Subaru WRX), they seem to work well with Koni (and maybe KYB) shocks, but they do look like they'd have a much harder ride quality for daily driving. Well, that and apparently there aren't any good shocks, now that I hear Koni and Ralliart have been taken away. Looks like Tein isn't just my best choice, it's my only choice.

arospeed springs will go that low but its not a good idea. unless you plan on spending 600 on shocks and sruts dont go with a drop like that.

ground controls are okay, they use eibach springs in their setup, a little ridged but any type of lowering is going to make your car that way...Im happy with my progress springs, and they are easy to install yourself...I didnt bother with coilovers cause i know i would be too lazy to raise/lower them. But if i had to get a coilover i would get the GC's they have the one adjustable tool technology, easier than using 2 spring tools to adjust the height. they are all good companies, good luck.
