squeeking pads

squeeking pads

i have there poterfield carbon-kevlar pads on my OZ rally. since the day i put the pads on, they have been squeekin. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem with their rrm pads?

Make sure the pad's aligned correctly, the rotor is true, there's no debris stuck in the pad or stuck on the rotor. Come on folks, it may be a car but exercise practicality before your typing fingers. Another note: some pads will be louder than others just due to the nature of the material they're made out of. I don't doubt that the Porterfields are going to make a bit more pad noise overall than the stock ones for a minute.

thanks, the latter part helps. the pads are definitely on there right and i've used a good bit of stuff trying to get them to stop squeeking.
