lowering on progress by myself!

ok im planning on lowering my ES with rrm progress sprigns myself, im gonna follow the instruction https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=55493 . I just want to know if there's anything that i have to pay extra attention to, and since i dont have an impact wrench nor spring compressor, is this task possible? or should i go rent a spring compressor from autozone or something (do they have it?!)

i was also wondering if its a good idea at all to take all the wheels off and put the car on 4 jack stands, or should i only do the front pair first? or 1 at a time in the front?

EDITED: finished! someone is telling me that i did the rear wrong, can anyone confirm?

i did mine front and then back. i suggest renting spring compressors. if you dont have an impact wrench dont expect this to be an easy task. it took me and my buddy about 5 hours to get mine because the front drivers strut bolt would not come loose. it owuld have been much easier with the right tools. the job can be done alone, just expect osme bumps and you should be okay.

i love autozone. I go in there and ask if they rent tools. The girls like ya its 40$ for the spring compressor. I ask her ok and how much of that do i get back when i return the tool . . . she says all of it. FREEBIE, its a great system for us but i dont see how it benefits autozone much.

Sounds like a tough install. I had a hard enough time on my cold air intake haha. Good luck though.

i put mine on the ground, nut pointing away from you and anything it could damage, and used an impact gun on the top bolt. came off easy. should be the same for hand tools

hold 12 with the bottom of your foot when you have it on the ground, then try to take off the bolt
