Alignment REALLY bad??!!

So, we removed my springs the other day to find out that my eBay springs didn't fit (serves me right for buying eBay crap). Probably better that I didn't put them on anyways. ANYWAYS, when we put my car back together and I started driving home the back of my car felt like I was towing a trailer or something. When I hit a bump I can feel my back end trying to go all over the place. Is this my alignment? Or do I need to tighten everything down again? HELP!! HELP!! HELP!!

what size rims are you running?
Did you make sure to tighten the shocks from inside the trunk properly?
Did you tighten the screw w/ the bushing that holds the shock to the read diff?

you probably missed something from being pissed off that the EBAY crap didn't work...Suprise suprise

I'm on the stock 15" OZ rims.
I tightened from the inside of the trunk super tight.
We did everything the same as when we took it apart.

I am gonna re-check everything again. Hopefully my car doesn't kill me before then

And yes, I already stated that I deserve this for buying ebay crap.

Super tight is nice but check the torque specs and make sure that you have all the bolts on to spec. Also take it into a shop and make sure the alignment is right.

You can eyeball the camber for now, tires should be pretty straight up and down while sitting on the ground. You can use a tape measure to check the rest. Measure the distance between the left and right side tires on the front side and then the back side of the tire. They should be the same.

OK, I just checked everything again. There was one bolt that was a little loose. I could see it being the problem. I'm going to go drive around for a bit and see how it feels. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for the help

Well I am officially going to have to take my car to a shop. I almost died on the freeway the other day. It was raining and i was going 50 mph and my car just started going all over the place. I had to pull over and get off the freeway and take side streets home. Any suggestions on what to tell the mechanic to look at so I don't get totally screwed?

If I were you guys I would just save up and get a set of coilovers and be done with it. With any set of springs, no matter the manufacturer, your going to blow out your shocks. In the end its just better to get some coilovers.

You're fine.

He bought some crappy coilover sleeves by "DropZone" that aren't even model specific. They sent him a box that said Honda/Nissan/Mitsubishi/etc. The instructions are just general tips. It was horrible.
