Looking for 3 specific things
OK here is the deal i am currently racing my car in the scca solo 2 program. i am planning on keeping my car within the stock class. we are able to change the sturts but not the the springs. everything that i could find in the search was the tein and jc that come with springs also. i am wanting to know if anyone knows of some upgraded/adjustable struts that are available to buy?
next thing
i am looking for some upgraded spark plug wires. i found some posts on the magnacor wires but no prices or where i could get them.
last thing
are the denso iridium plugs worth the money to get?
thanks

I'D like to get the info on the magnecor wires and denso even though i allready ordered them.
i believe if you don't want to change the springs then get the ralli art struts check RRM first but if not RMR might have it

where did you order them from and how much where they?
Too bad the Konis aren't available anymore. Those and KYBs are the top choices in stock categories. One thing to consider before buying the ralliart ones. I believe they say it lowers the car a little. I'm not sure how much but here's the rules on alternate shocks:
The make of shock absorber may be substituted providing that the number, type, (e.g., tube, lever, etc.) system of attachment and attachment points are not altered, except as noted below. The interchange of gas and hydraulic shock absorbers is permitted. The following restrictions apply:
1. No more than two separate external shock damping adjustment controls. Gas pressure adjustment is not considered a damping adjustment.
2. Suspension geometry and alignment capability, not including ride height, may not be altered by the substitution of alternate shock absorbers.
3. Adjustable spring perches are allowed, but the spring load-bearing surface must be in the same location relative to the shock mounting points as on the standard part. Shims may be used to achieve compliance.
4. The fully extended length must be within plus or minus one inch of the dimension of the standard part.
5. Electronically controlled shocks may not be used on vehicles not originally equipped with such units. Vehicles originally equipped with electronically controlled shocks may use the standard parts or non-electronically controlled alternative shocks subject to all requirements of 13.5. Non standard electronically controlled active shocks are not allowed.
If I were you, I'd get a decent catback for now and hold out until KYB comes out with some single or double sdjustables. I'm seriously considering putting my car back to stock specs, but I don't think I'd be able to control the itch to mod it more.

yeah i am thinking that i will be getting the plugs wires and catback before i get struts. unfortunately i am very picky on the exhuast so that will be the last thing probably. (don't want a fart pipe sound
) what do you think about getting the denso plugs and magnacor wires?

Is that the catback I keep seeing on ebay? If so, it seems like a decent setup, but after all the things my dad's been reading about exhaust and tuning it and stuff, I'm not sure what to think. If you get it, let me know what you think, and what the sound is like. I don't expect any more than 3-5 hp out of an exhaust anyway, so if I'm gonna spring the cash for it, it better sound cool too.
i'd personally go custom thats what i got and you now its going to be even with the lines of the bumper you wont have to worry about the bumper turning black.

Unek02, that's a good idea. My dad learned how to weld and is going to weld the exhaust to our Mustang project ('68 coupe built to 1970 SCCA Trans Am series specs) himself, so I should just get him to help me make one for my Lancer if it turns out well.
