I can already tell what the future will hold from Tokico. They released the HPs for the ES model about two months ago (I may be wrong). Then they will release the HPs for the OZ/LS in April of 2004. My guess is the Illuminas will come soon after that for the ES, then they will come out for the OZ/LS about 6 months later. Hey, at least they are making them.

Call Tokico (1-800-548-2549). Ask questions and let them know there is a need for lancer products. Can't hurt. As of yesterday they do not have a price list out yet.

I emailed RMR to see what they know about struts for the OZ lancer and this was there response:

"Tokico is working on some for release in summer 04.
Best Regards,

R. Millen Motorsport Sales, Inc."

I just spoke with a some one at Tokico and they said that they should be releasing the HP non-adjustables for the OZ soon. With other product line for the OZ to follow. I really want new front struts!

Why? I just got word that Tokico may not release products for the OZ until next year. This is not good at all! So many of us who installed springs have been stuck with dead struts that rattle over every crack in the road. So our only option is to spend big $$$ on Coil-overs or sell the car. Thanks "aftermarket" for all the options. I would say that a greater percentage of Lancer owners are looking to mod their cars then almost any other group out there. The Lancer is Mitsubishi's version of the Civic just without the aftermarket support. Makes you wish you just did what every one else does, and just bought a Honda. Better resale value and aftermarket support.

Any one have any other ideas. Is there a way to make the ES or evo front struts work on the OZ?

Not bad, but I've never heard of the company. Add shipping and that's saving a couple hundred over Teins, but I know how well Tein works and lasts. Hmmmmm.

I agree with UrbanKnight. I have never heard of the company, but at that price... if the last and compare at all with the Teins they are a STEAL for that price!

It looks like JIC Magic is going to put out a more affordable Coilover. I saw on their web site a five way adjustable, variable ride hight, coilover with upper mounts. Looks like the List price is going to be about $1200. Does anyone have any more info on these? They are the "FLTA1" coilovers.

Aren't those the JICs that have been out forever? and aren't they like $1900?
Is JIC dropping the listprice to compete with Tein?

The $1900 model is 15 way adjustable, although many people seem to be happy with Koni 3-ways, so 5 is good too. But the question is do they come with camber plates? If not, it's just a 5 way version of the Teins, and the same price.
