I am looking for a 1/1.5 drop kit for the new lancer, is there any out yet, I know of some in the making, Just wanted to find more info on them. Would this effect my warrenty at all?

 

There isn't anything out yet for the 08. There probably won't be for a couple months.

RRM is producing stuff quickly and I think it will still be at least another month for their stuff.

 

RRM and Works will both have drop kits out shortly. Patience is the key right now!

 

if you don't wanna wait. i'm sure a ground control kit would work,. they are pretty much universal, just check the diameter of the strut i guess.

 

I think I will wait , I am still waiting for the car so what the heck, Just like to have things planed or sitting in line for the cars arrival.

 

works is also making one theirs should be out soon too that the one im going to get
the good thing about theirs is going to give great ride quality and also up the peformance at the same time and hopefully not a lot of camber change the said their going to try and not have that happen... im looking forward to working with them
there drop will be minimal like 1" maybe more im going to look at it the prototype soon

I must be getting old i could have sworn the 18's on it made it low enough already

 

if anything the bigger the wheels that higher the car with unless you go down in tire size but still it stays the same with tire compinsation. i bet when you see the lowered gts's with the body work you'll agree with us, my car is just wating for suspension.

 

and for the warrenty, well it depends as the service deparpment where you will be getting it worked on... so check it out

 

My friend at the dealer ship think that they wouldent know tyhe diffrence if a lancer came in 1" lower.
