Very true. It's something a lot of guys overlook when going turbo...brakes, tires, & a LSD should be things that come before the turbo...speed and power are completely worthless without grip.

Very wise words, now only if more people knew this.

And for the kit itself i would most likely be interested but it would be really nice to get a whole car kit with really big slotted rotors and very nice red multi piston calipers with steel braided lines. Then throw a set of coilovers on there as well as a turbo and then you will be ready for some fun driving.

Under normal conditions they will both behave more or less the same, as even the 6 piston brakes will only engage 4 pistons to stop you. The difference is when you really, really need stopping power (i.E. slam on the brakes)...those 2 extra (and larger) pistons get engaged and will bring you to a stop pretty damn quick (assuming you have good traction)...that's the advantage of 6 piston. It's great for street cars.

Also, keep in mind that if you are going to mod your brakes: 1) going with an over-sized rotor diameter can work against you at times 2) don't cheap out on the pads 3) use steel brake lines

I would be interested in a GTS big break kit, but like they said earlier, would like to know a round about estimate before a full commitment.

it is more mass to stop and more mass to get going after a stop. and they will run cooler and possibly even too cool due to the bigger size of the rotor. so big is good but too big can be bad. its more about powerful calipers and more rotor/pad surface area.
