just wondering today would be the first day i looked under the hood (weird usually its like the first thing) i noticed that it had a strut bar before i found this out i thought about buying the RR strut. now how much better is the RR strut compared to my stock and did all the GTS come with this? thanks in advance.

 

All GTS's (GTSii?) have them. The RRM strut bar bolts to the firewall as well as to the strut towers, so in theory it would disperse energy somewhat better than the stock bar. It's also extremely stronger than the stock bar, which will easily bend if you stand on it.

I have the RRM bar on my GTS not because of any perceived performance difference though...I just got it because crappy stamped steel looking things (like the stock bar) depress me.

You had me at Crappy stamped Steel! Stock GTS bar is a piece of @#@#. At least the old RA bar on the 04-06s were decent. Even though our bar was much better, I could not call that bar crap. The 08 bar is crap. No matter how many places it bolts down to it still bends in the middle! That is a serious issue. I took one off a car at our shop and stood on it, it does bend. I was even able to bend the stokc bar a little OVER MY KNEE.
