Control Arm

Does anyone know how to change the Left front lower control arm?
It has been bent and I have ordered the part already to be replaced. has anyone done this before? Is it simple?

three bolts.

1. put the car on jackstands.
2. put the car on jackstands.

3. wheel off
4. remove bolt on the ball joint clamp on the bottom of the spindle.
5. knock out ball joint with ball joint fork or big hammer on the control arm.
6. Remove plastic cover plate that covers front control arm bolt. You have to remove a bunch of those little plastic push pins where you pop out the middle and then it comes out of the hole.
7. Remove front lower control arm bolt.
8. Remove rear lower control arm nut and bolt. note position.
9. slide out the old control am.

reverse to reintall. You may not have to realign it but I suggest you check it...you may have bent something else.

The dealer I went to said the control arm needs to be changed and the bearing might be damaged. not sure. So I have to remove bolts of the upper control arm to put the lower one on?
