ok so my front shocks are pretty much gone.. due to having tein springs and a really harsh curb on my driveway.

so im lookin into getting some kyb's to replace all 4. ive herd they go pretty good with tien s techs i have, is this true and have any of you ran this set up?

I'm thinking the popular response will likely be that for the price you might as well get coilovers.

 

they should work alright. they are about 10% stronger than stock so they should last about 10% longer

i don't see why he wouldn't. He just installed a turbo kit by himself, and switching out struts is beyond easy

I have the NEX coilovers and they are excellent. I'm very happy with them. However i got mine used for $300
I would personally recommend getting the Megans, they have had nothing but good reviews and people seem very happy with them. Probably worth the extra $150

 

how do the tein basics compare?
i dont want to spend alot, so if i can find them used for cheap too whats the best?

 

Tiens are pretty decent too, $800 shipped for those i think. and they have adjustable height, but no upper mounts or dampening adjustment. or camber. Which is why i would suggest the megans over those. Not that they are bad, just that for the money you can get something better
