Static shock or something eles...

I have been experiencing a lot of static shock everytime I get out of my X, my wifes X and the RA. I have done pretty minimal mods to them so it could be my lack of mechanical expertise or is it just me not getting out of the Recaro seats correctly? IDK but if anyone could shine some light on my issue that would be greatly appreciated.

In the winter time the air is dryer which allows for more ionization of the air which intern makes it easier for static to build up on yourself. I feel it in my office every time I get up walk around and then touch the door and get a shock. This is not a car issue it's just something that occurs naturally so don't worry about it.

Static shock drives me up a wall. Touch a piece of metal, like the door frame, as you're exiting.

Working for a Mitsu dealer, I've found it to be normal. It happens with pretty much the entire lineup on certain days, and also on those days it happens on our used cars too, not just the Mitsus. Nothing to worry about.

This happens in my Evo like it did on my prior DD, a 2010 Prius. My wife used to think it was specific to the Prius, but then the Evo shocked her, too.

Dude omfg this kills me! Every time I get out the X or go to touch my door knob of my house I get shocked! But I have a trick for this

Use your palm of your hand to close or touch your car when you get out. Curl your fingers back and don't let your fingers touch metal lol.

Sounds funny but it hurts like heck getting my finger tips shocked. It still shocks me but it doesn't hurt what so ever on the palm. Try it

Whats really fun is when you have static build up and go to wash your hands and the water sparks it.

Well I know about the ionization but I was even getting shocked in the summer also.

I was maybe thinking it was something I did not grounding properly, but if nobody else is experincing it maybe it's electric personality.
