rrm spring install ?
rrm spring install ?
i installed the rrm springs on my girls lancer, and the springs clunk a lil up front when hittin a bump and goin up my driveway, do they need to break in? or should i remove and rotate the top of the strut? thanx
P.S. the spring is sittin on the bottom in its correct spot. not sure if the top is and not sure if the top matters..

I installed my RRM v2 springs myself. They never clunk and I go through some pretty steep driveways and parking lot entrances and my suspension never clunks. I'm talking about driveways and parking lot ramps so steep that I loose traction on the front because the front inside wheel is barely touching the ground.
Make sure you have the spring seated in the perches properly (bottom AND top). Also make sure you have the top spring perch mounted properly in the strut tower with all the washers, grommets, and spacers. Make sure they're centered, fully seated, and make sure there is NO slack.
